Hello friend…im still trying to jump over this last wall I hit in front of me. I have been trying to set a button in HTML that would load a file browser to add pictures in the background of the scene.
It turns out that the "select file" button is there, but the z-index confuses the browser(chrome). So i see that in order to use it, I will have to add code that will solve most browsers rules.

And I hit another alternative that I consider to be really good depending on the image quality.

There is this thread I was reading where the node “inherit material” is triggered and the object changes material. Can I do that with textures as well (browsing files looking for images as materials for the object?)???
By the way, this is awesome :
http://learningthreejs.com/data/2013-04-30-closing-the-gap-between-html-and-webgl/index.html

it is a plane …if i could load it like that…
I could have a square(plane, cube) in the background the size I wanted and it would change textures when the viewer clicks on a cube. I would still need the viewer to have access to the hard drive files, though. How could I solve this?

1)I need the html label to show in the browser;
2) Suggestions about doing what the link above shows…

Please..thank you so, so much!! Again…and again

z-index should work on Chrome. Play with life examples which you can find a huge amount.

For your case right way is to use change image functionality. See corresponding code snippet.

Here is the simplest example of Image loading: https://codepen.io/mobifreaks/pen/LIbca

You should combine the Change Image code snippets example and the example above.

So, what is a problem?

There is a div, which transforms depending on the camera view. And in this div the main page of http://learningthreejs.com is rendered.
