Outline node does not work on some meshes

I use an outline node to to outline the mesh that is selectable for the next step in my project. However, on certain meshes, there is no outline at all. it works fine in real-time preview , but doesn't when I export it to blend4web html. I have enabled 'Selectable' and 'Enable Outlining' . I also tried to 'Force dynamic object' and it still doesn't work.

Any idea on how to fix this issue? its pretty urgent ):
