Shoviv MBOX Converter is primarily designed for migrating MBOX file data (including emails, attachments, and properties) to formats like PST, EML, MSG, or online platforms like Office 365. While the tool's core function preserves attachments during conversion, it does not appear to have a dedicated, direct "Extract Attachments Only" feature for MBOX files like some specialized tools.

However, you can effectively isolate and access image attachments by converting the MBOX data to a different file format:

Convert to EML/MSG: Convert the MBOX file to EML (individual email files) or MSG format. These formats save each email individually, and the attachments (including images) are easily accessible alongside the message body in the resulting file structure. You can then navigate the output folder and directly copy/extract the image attachments from these individual files.

Convert to PST: When converting to PST for Outlook, the attachments are embedded within the converted emails, maintaining the folder hierarchy.

The best and most direct method for image extraction is usually converting to EML or MSG and accessing the attachments directly from the output files.
