Hi all,

if someone else gets the same problem, I found the easiest way for the moment to keep working is to revert back to Blender 2.78b 32bit.

@ Blender: would be nice to get an updated 64bit version of Blender…

Kind Regards

Hi!
I tried Blender 2.76b on Windows 7 64 bit. Have no issues.
Do you update your system?
Could you try to write
import _socket
in "Python Console" editor without enabling of Blend4Web? Is there any message?

Could you please run Blender from "cmd", reproduce the issue and copy all output here?

Hi Alexander,

I am very sorry, but I cant reproduce the error.
I uninstalled Blender 2.78b 32bit and installed 2.78b 64bit again and now there is no error/ issue any more…

Prior to the 32bit install I deleted all Python related files from my Harddrive.

Kind Regards

Did you use installation distribution or .zip ?

Probably, there was some conflicts if you install using first distribution. Anyway it seems the Blender distribution issue. If you will reproduce it again, it would be nice to get more information.
