Logic Node for draggable objects?

24 May 2016 08:05
Is the API method the only way to create a click drag action to rotate objects like in the "Experience Curiosity" app or can it be done with the logic nodes?

Also if its not available will it make it into an upcoming release?
This would be great functionality in the logic node system and allow for more complex apps without needing to use the API.

Thanks

Hello!
For now there is no such functionality in the Logic Editor.
We have some plans to enlarge "Switch Select" node flexibility, but I can't say exactly when

I guess the furniture tutorial is quick good for that. Maybe you can adapt some behaviors form that scene to your taste. Like the collision sensor could be used to check if an object has been dropped in the right place.

Hello!

Unfortunately for now drag and drop via pure logic editor is not supported.
It can be done with logic node JS Callback though (https://www.blend4web.com/en/forums/topic/3038/?page=1#post-15512) but I think for drag and drop it isn't the optimal way.
We have tutorial about implementing drag and drop via JavaScript: https://www.blend4web.com/en/community/article/66/
