Large number of forum notifications

Hey guys sorry to bother with this, but I've been getting large batches of forum notifications emails for posts that don't exist.
It has happened twice in the last few weeks, I get a few emails (like 9 or 10 at a time) notifying for new posts on the forum but the links all return 404 and I believe no replies were made.

So is your forum being targeted for spam, is there a bug in the software, or is it something wrong on my end?

Ah nice, thanks for letting me know. Just thought I'd let you guys know, in case you were unaware of the problem or something serious was happening behind your back, like some sort of hack attempt or spam.
