Hi !

Yes, you can import any textures baked for Unity project. You also can reconstruct materials with sss or curvature, it's little bit tricky way, but it works. Models with mesh animation also can be imported in B4W.

By the way, we about to prepare a huge improvement for B4W this release! It should be a crucial feature especially for Unity users - BSDF Ubershader for PBR configurations is coming. We tested it and it's totally amazing!

Hello, mcolinp!

Beautiful example of translucent material with realistic reflection!

It is usual situation, when translucent objects look little bit amorphic and it is very import to refine your geometry for the better reflections on angles. Try to make additional edge loops near the hard edges and loops on your object. It makes your normals look the right directions and clarifies your model.

Good day!

It is usual practice to set double texture resolution for 3d scene in gamedev and realtime cg. For example, if you have scene resolution 2k, set texture resolution to 4k. it's because of perspective positioning of your texture, and if you have a text or signs on it, you may loose readability of this stuff.

Anyway, try to encapsulate your gui components from 3d scene to html. Html canvas and 3d scene events work perfectly well together.

Hello!
You try to lay out siple ui elements directly into the blend4web scene, am I right? You have a much simplier way to organize your project combining 3d contents with adaptive or responsive html elements, so you can use html for you ui, because all 3d events can be controlled with html.

Hello there and welcome!

This weird idea was realised by Hansi Raber with oscilloscope and presented at Blender Conf 2016. You can find it here -> https://www.blender.org/conference/2016/presentations/280
