Hi
as blend4web is growing and portal is getting filled up with lots of stuff, is there any plan to include a search facility? This will help users or developers to search specific thread or a solution easily?

I was looking for few such and found it could be really a great value addition in the acceleration of the growth of blend4web. This surely will help to conclude faster by searching out little little tips & tricks posted in many threads.

Well to me specifically I was looking for how to handle "target slot" when selected "Select & Jump" in type under Append NLA script sot.

Oh
I hope I was not much wrong…!

Are these tutorial updates going to cover basic fundamentals again in a new fashion? As new beginners would always need them from scratch…!

I got a long break due to other works and coming back to such situation was shock…! Hope things will be okey soon… & I will find them easy again for 15.03 & 15.04 too!

Hi
I always was impressed by blend4web development and here on forum since some time. I tried couple of tutorials initially and was all good. In the mean time there was gap of few weeks and when I wanted to brush up myself with simple things… I tries to follow the this tutorial.
I remember I had worked on this in the past successfully but today when I was referring … I found i was ending up no where… couldn't do simple thing.

Where is the part of tutorial telling about NLA editing gone?
Am i not supposed to use the old version tutorials while using 15.03 sdk?

what is wrong?
1. Is it because i am using SDK-free set instead of just a freeware plugin?
2. Is it because i m referring wrong link?
3. Is it because the version is lot changed & I need to follow with new tuts?

I felt as if tutorial was half only… and I couldn't see further part of it…. what am i missing?

I m confused…

Yeh…. but do you think samsung note series phones are of cheap GPU? which google blacklists?
I don't think so…
I tried with above settings in android 4.4.2 with chrome… but as you said evgeny, it resulted in some unexpected graphics flickers on screen…
however apart from chrome other browser played it well. :)

Do we have any scope of using a kind of .xml type technique? My focus is to see if any dynamic content update can be achieved with b4w?
I know updating or modifying blender file and publishing will do everything but… need to know without going back to blender scene can anything happen?

Example :
I have done everything about a typical product 3D model presentation and published typically in html with b4w. Can I >

1. Link some excel data file to update anything seen in interactive 3D view by manipulating excel sheet cell values?
2. Can I have a any texture mapped image placed in a directory which upon replacing with another one reflects change in browser view just by refreshing it?
3. Can I use an interpreter in between 3D html file & a content file i wish to update time to time. ( It may have limited scope as per features )
4. From within the 3D scene in browser, can I have facility to go to some external link by clicking on annotations ( url ) ? in the same window or in new window.
example : if clicked on a annotation the viewer directly gets a new link opened in a browser or simple pdf file is triggered in a new tab for some details of the product.

I wish to deploy my 3Dhtml to a client with certain change abilities at their finger tips without whole knowledge of b4w?

Is it a next version vision? any chances or its far far away as on today? where are we?

Hey Nils
this is interesting … I was after the similar but slightly different topic during initial discussions of b4w Example.
These things are really interesting.
I had done path animation previously, as said above it needs to be baked… but I guess now b4w must be having capability to have direct incorporation of path animations when published.

Hey
thanks for the reply.
Do you mean python programming? or what kind of coding is required?
I suppose for all this there is a need to buy the commercial version of the source code.
once its purchased, is this all will be supported by blend4web team? I mean I don't know if you are the right person to answer this question but seeing the sample link given by you, it seems you must be having a commercial source code bundle.

I m eager & have some plans of course hence more keen on streamlining this asap.
